What is Uva Ursi Max-V (Bearberry)?
Uva Ursi, also known as bearberry, is a low-lying evergreen shrub found in Canada, Europe, and Asia. It has been used traditionally as a diuretic, astringent and urinary antiseptic for several hundred years.
One of the active components in it, arbutin, releases hydroquinone, which can provide support for urinary health. Other studies have indicated that uva ursi can modulate healthy allergy and inflammatory processes.
